The CU36L4 chamber is optimized for plant tissue culture in plates, dishes or flasks. PetriClear LEDs are dimmable from 10-100% output with up to 170 µmoles/m2/s irradiance @ 6" from the LEDs. Interior / exterior of smooth white galvanized steel with foamed-in-place non-CFC insulation and a stainless-steel floor for corrosion resistance. Specially designed airflow insulates shelf level experiments from heat generated by the underlying light fixture. Four tiers of epoxy coated steel wire shelving slide in and out easily on stainless steel rail assemblies. Self-contained air-cooled condensing unit with hot gas bypass system for continuous compressor operation extends life, ensuring precise temperature control by alternately cycling refrigerant and hot gas to coil; this also prolongs compressor life, and eliminates risk of ice build up in coil. The KB011 is a 11.6 cubic feet bench top environmental chamber. Temperature range is 2 to 50 degrees C. Humidity range ambient to 90 percent. This unit comes with 2 stainless steel shelves. The chamber provides 304 series stainless steel interior and door liner, corrosion-resistant; also a heavy-gauge powder-coated, galvanized steel exterior. The KB series chambers feature hot gas by-pass technology which controls the temperature of the epoxy coated evaporator for greater uniformity. The ultrasonic humidification system provides excellent humidity control and avoids hot spots seen during chamber mapping of steam boiler equipped chambers.
